About The Program
Daniel Goleman first brought ‘emotional intelligence’, in short EI, to a wide audience with his 1995 book of that name. He found that while the qualities traditionally associated with leadership such as intelligence, toughness, determination and vision are required for success, they are insufficient. Truly effective leaders are also distinguished by a high degree of emotional intelligence, which includes:
The ability to recognize what you are feeling, to understand your habitual emotional responses to events and to recognize how your emotions affect your behavior and performance. When you are self-aware, you see yourself as others see you, and have a good sense of your own abilities and current limitations.
b. Managing emotions
The ability to stay focused and think clearly even when experiencing powerful emotions. Being able to manage your own emotional state is essential for taking responsibility for your actions, and can save you from hasty decisions that you later regret.
c. Motivating oneself
The ability to use your deepest emotions to move and guide you towards your goals. This ability enables you to take the initiative and to persevere in the face of obstacles and setbacks.
The ability to sense, understand and respond to what other people are feeling. Self-awareness is essential to having empathy with others. If you are not aware of your own emotions, you will not be able to read the emotions of others.
e. Social Skill
The ability to manage, influence and inspire emotions in others. Being able to handle emotions in relationships and being able to influence and inspire others are essential foundation skills for successful teamwork and leadership.
This program is fully equipped with the tools and techniques that can be easily applied into every aspect of the daily life. The tools when implemented have a very profound effect on quality of life because it addresses the core issue; SELF ESTEEM. We strongly believe that a person’s performance or results is generated from his/her behavior. His/her behavior is strongly governed by their BELIEFS. Rather than just tackle the end result that we see from a person’s work, we seek to identify the root cause of the LIMITING BELIEFS in their belief system. This is more lasting and transformational to employees.
By the end of the program, the participants are able:-
1. To rrecognize how to manage emotions and positively influence self and others.
2. To ddevelop self-leadership effectiveness by creating an atmosphere that engages others.
3. To build more effective relationships with people at work and surroundings.
4. To enhance satisfaction and fulfillment at work that supports high performance
The program will be conducted in total of 2 days.
